How it is calculated
In Québec high schools, the school mark comes from the three terms, usually weighted 20%, 20% and 60%. You can change the weights because some schools use other rules.
For subjects with a ministry exam in Secondary 4 and 5, the exam counts for 50% and the (moderated) school mark for 50% of the result for the competency evaluated. If your exam mark is higher than your school mark, the exam mark is kept. The pass mark is 60%.
Example: school mark 65%, target 60%: you need 2 × 60 − 65 = 55% on the exam.
What this calculator does not do
The official result is calculated per competency, after ministry moderation, then combined according to each subject's evaluation framework. This calculator gives a reliable estimate to plan your studying, not an official result.

Which subjects have a ministry exam?+
Secondary 4: math, History of Québec and Canada, Science and Technology. Secondary 5: language of instruction writing and second language. See the exam calendar.
What if the mark needed is over 100%?+
