Grading scales used
Concordia and Université de Montréal use a 4.3 scale: A+ = 4.3, A = 4.0, A− = 3.7, B+ = 3.3, B = 3.0, B− = 2.7, C+ = 2.3, C = 2.0, C− = 1.7, D+ = 1.3, D = 1.0, then D− (Concordia, 0.7) and F or E = 0.
McGill uses a 4.0 scale: A = 4.0, A− = 3.7, B+ = 3.3, B = 3.0, B− = 2.7, C+ = 2.3, C = 2.0, D = 1.0 and F = 0.
The average is weighted by credits: a 3-credit course counts three times as much as a 1-credit course.
