Choosing CST, TS or SN
In Secondary 4, students choose a math sequence that opens or closes some CEGEP programs. Our CST, TS or SN guide explains the differences.

Many Gatineau parents work in Ottawa or went to school in Ontario themselves, so the Quebec system can feel unfamiliar. Here, high school ends in Secondary 5, which comes one year earlier than Ontario's Grade 12. Students then go to CEGEP, two years in a pre-university program or three in a technical one, before university. In Ontario, students finish Grade 12 and can go straight to university or college, with no CEGEP in between. Knowing these steps helps you see when the effort really counts.
Our tutors teach the Quebec curriculum and know its key milestones. We do not claim expertise in the Ontario curriculum. Since our in-person classes are only in Montreal, Gatineau students take their classes live online: camera, screen sharing and a shared whiteboard, with the same tutor every week and a short report to parents after every class.

In Quebec, some courses end with a ministry exam, including Secondary 4 math and Secondary 5 French writing. Check the ministry exam calendar.
CEGEP science programs require Secondary 5 TS or SN math. We strengthen functions, trigonometry and vectors so students arrive ready.
Differential Calculus, Integral Calculus and Linear Algebra, in English or in French. See Calculus I and Calculus II.
English language arts for English schools, French as a second language, or French writing for students in French school. See our French classes.
French public schools in Gatineau belong to three school service centres: the CSS des Portages-de-l'Outaouais, mostly in the Hull and Aylmer sectors, and the CSS des Draveurs, in the Gatineau sector. Buckingham and Masson-Angers belong to the CSS au Cœur-des-Vallées. English public schools belong to the Western Quebec School Board. Both networks follow the same ministry program, with the same end-of-year exams.
After high school, most local students go to Heritage College, the English CEGEP, or to the Cégep de l'Outaouais. The R score earned at CEGEP is then used for university admission in Quebec: read how the R score works.

No. Our in-person classes are only in Montreal. In Gatineau, every class is live online, one-on-one with the tutor. It is not a recorded video: your child talks, writes and asks questions in real time.
Our tutors follow the Quebec curriculum, not Ontario's. In the first class, we identify what is missing compared with what Quebec expects at your child's level, then close those gaps week by week.
Yes, Gatineau and Montreal are in the same time zone. Classes run every day from 9 AM to 9 PM, weekends included.
Yes. Classes are given in English, French or Persian, so your child can work on math or English in English, and on French as a second language with a French-speaking tutor.
The same as in person: $35 an hour for elementary, $45 for high school and $55 for CEGEP. First class free, no contract, and 5% or 10% off with packages of 8 or 12 classes.
