A bilingual neighbourhood, students in every school network

In NDG it is common for one child to attend an English school, another a private school and a cousin a French school a few streets away. Parents speak English, French or another language, and kids switch between them without thinking, until a French essay or a math test in English shows a weak spot. Our tutors teach in both languages and follow the Quebec curriculum, whatever the school network.

Because NDG is in Montreal, classes can be in person: at home, or in a quiet spot like a neighbourhood library, depending on tutor availability. Many families also switch to online classes when the week gets busy. After every class, a short written report tells you what was covered.

NDG schools, CEGEPs and landmarks

We know the local schools

NDG is home to well-known private schools such as Loyola High School, Villa Maria and Lower Canada College, public English schools like Royal Vale School of the English Montreal School Board, and French schools of the Centre de services scolaire de Montréal. Concordia University's Loyola Campus is in the neighbourhood too. Our tutors adapt to the pace and expectations of each school.

For CEGEP, many NDG students go to Dawson College or Vanier College, both reachable by metro. We support them in Calculus I, Calculus II and Linear Algebra, in English or French. For the Secondary 4 exam, our guide on how to pass the Secondary 4 math exam explains how to organize review.
