Brossard tutoring · Live online classes
In Brossard, many children go to school in French while another language is spoken at home. Our tutors help them keep up in class, and help parents understand what the school expects.
Price$35 to $55 / hour

Brossard is home to families from all over the world, and you will hear Mandarin, Cantonese, Arabic, Spanish, Persian, English and many other languages in its parks and shops. The children, though, spend their school day in French. In the evening, there may be no adult at home who can check a dictation, explain a grammar rule or read a math word problem with them. That is often where a tutor makes the biggest difference.
The tutor goes over the vocabulary and rules seen in class, teaches your child to read instructions carefully and helps them get organized with homework. For parents, we also take the time to explain a report card, a note from the teacher or how the ministry exams work, in English or Persian if that is easier. Classes are live online, in the evening or on weekends. See our online tutoring page for details.

French public schools in Brossard belong to the Centre de services scolaire Marie-Victorin, including École secondaire Antoine-Brossard, one of the large high schools on the South Shore. Our tutors follow the Quebec curriculum from elementary to Secondary 5, including the ministry exams, and our ministry exam calendar helps you plan review time.
After high school, many Brossard students head to Champlain College Saint-Lambert next door, or to a French CEGEP on the South Shore. Science programs require solid algebra, so we prepare that transition at the end of high school and then support CEGEP calculus.
