Live online classes that keep pace with school

For Longueuil families, classes are held live online. The tutor sees your child's work on camera, writes alongside them on a shared board and corrects mistakes as they happen. It is not a recorded video: it is a real hour of focused work with one person. If you really want face-to-face classes, those take place in Montreal, but most South Shore parents would rather skip the Jacques-Cartier Bridge on a school night.

We start from what your child is actually doing in class: the workbook, the last corrected test, the next evaluation the teacher has announced. After every class you get a short written report on what was covered and what still needs work. Our online tutoring page shows how a typical class runs.

Longueuil schools and boroughs

We know the curriculum your child follows

French-language public schools in Longueuil belong to the Centre de services scolaire Marie-Victorin, while several English schools, especially around Greenfield Park, are part of the Riverside School Board. The Quebec curriculum is the same in both networks, so our tutors know what is evaluated in Secondary 4 and 5 and can teach in English or French depending on the language of your child's school.

At Cégep Édouard-Montpetit, the math courses in science and business programs are a real step up from high school. We review algebra when needed, then work through the outline for Calculus I or Linear Algebra. For the Secondary 4 exam, our guide on how to pass the Secondary 4 math exam lists what to review first.
