Quebec City · Live online classes
Live one-on-one classes for families in Quebec City and Lévis, from elementary school to CEGEP. English comes up a lot, but we also help with math, French and CEGEP calculus, on weeknights and weekends.
Price$35 to $55 / hour

Quebec City is overwhelmingly French-speaking, and most students hear English mainly in class, a few hours a week. Parents often contact us for the same reason: their child understands some English but hesitates to speak, or loses marks on written tasks. A full hour of one-on-one conversation and writing with a tutor often makes a real difference. For anglophone families whose children attend a Central Québec School Board school, French and math often matter just as much.
Since our in-person classes are only in Montreal, students in Quebec City and Lévis take their classes live online. It is not a video course: tutor and student see each other, share the screen and write on the same whiteboard. Classes run every day from 9 AM to 9 PM, which leaves room after sports, in the evening or on Saturday morning.

In Quebec City, French public schools belong to several school service centres, including the CSS de la Capitale and the CSS des Découvreurs, which covers Sainte-Foy and Sillery among other areas. English public schools belong to the Central Québec School Board. Lévis, across the St. Lawrence River, is a separate city, but its students follow the same program and can take online classes with us too.
After high school, local students often head to Champlain St. Lawrence, the English CEGEP, or to Cégep Garneau, Cégep de Sainte-Foy or Cégep Limoilou. To prepare that step, read our guide to the high school to CEGEP transition.
